We will be visiting The Breakers, The Breakers is the grandest of Newport's summer "cottages" and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family's social and financial pre-eminence in the Gilded Age. The Marble House, William Vanderbilt built Marble House as a 39th birthday present for his wife Alva Vanderbilt. It was a social and architectural landmark that set the pace for Newport's subsequent transformation from a quiet summer colony of wooden houses to the legendary resort of opulent Gilded Age mansions. The Elms, The Elms was modeled after an 18th-century French chateau but featured the latest technology of the Gilded Age. It houses an outstanding collection of paintings, statuary and tapestries, and its landscape features formal gardens, terraces, pavilions and fountains.

We will start our day in Cape May where we will enjoy a delicious lunch at The Willow Creek Winery. We will take the 2:30 PM Cape May-Lewes Ferry over to Lewes , DE. Once on board, you get to sit back and relax while you cruise past historic lighthouses, picturesque harbors, and local wildlife. Dinner at the Bonfire Restaurant for a wonderful “all you can eat” buffet featuring seafood, fresh prime rib, soups, BBQ ribs and so much more. Afterwards, we will see a spectacular Cher Tribute Show - The Beat Goes On. Day in Annapolis, visit to the US Naval Academy, Maryland State House Tour, guided tour of Annapolis & free time for lunch and shopping on your own. Sunday, we will have some touring in the morning/afternoon and return to hotel to relax before we Ring in the New Year with a fabulous Gala 2024. The following morning after breakfast we will check out and depart for home. We will stop at the Pub for a early dinner before arriving back home.

The Simon and Garfunkel Story is a critically acclaimed concert style theatre show about two young boys from Queens, New York who went on to become the world’s most successful music duo of all time.
