Our annual July 4th celebration begins.  We will be making a morning stop and a lunch stop before arriving in beautiful Maine.  We will stop in Portland for dinner at DiMillo’s.  The Boothbay Harbor Inn is a beautiful motel directly on the waterfront which has a wonderful indoor and outdoor lounge for your enjoyment.  There is a walkway bridge over the water to the Village of Boothbay Harbor.  Of course a favorite of many is walking over the bridge at night for their delicious homemade ice cream.  During our stay in the Boothbay Region, we will tour the Boothbay area, and have a boat ride to Cabbage island for our Lobster Bake on the 4th and our DOCK PARTY with heavy snack buffet and great view of the fireworks on the waterfront of our motel.   We will have a cruise to Star Island as well as an optional 30 minute waling tour of the island.  We will cruise through the legendary Isles of Shoals, through a cluster of 9 islands located off the coast, we will see “the Alzatraz of the east”, 5 historic forts and lighthouses.  We will  stop on the way home in Kennebunkport for lunch and shopping on your own.   This tour sells out quickly and SINGLE ROOMS ARE SOLD OUT! 1st bus sold out and half of second bus.

Highlights:  Stop at Kitchen Kettle for a light lunch and shopping on your own.  Dinner at the Fireside Inn before going to the American Music Theater for Terry Fator.   Legendary America’s Got Talent winner Terry Fator and his cast of America’s favorite puppets are  “On the Road Again.”  The show features comedy, modern songs and favorites from the ‘60s through the ‘90s, hilarious musical parodies, and Terry’s unique ventriloquism skills.  The puppet “cast” includes country superstar Walter T. Francisco, Terry’s annoying neighbor Duggie Scott Walker, and Winston the Impersonating Turtle.  Terry’s show is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for anyone who loves comedy, music, and classic variety with a modern twist.  The following day, at the Fulton Theater for  Charlie & The Chocolate Factory.  The world-famous Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his mysterious factory… but only to a lucky few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a life-changing journey through Wonka’s world of pure imagination including chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels and the great glass elevator, all to be revealed by Wonka’s army of curious Oompa-Loompas.  Afterwards, Millers for dinner before heading home.
