Highlights include:  The Gateway Arch, a 630 foot monument, the world's tallest arch.  We will tour the museum, view a film depicting the construction of the Arch or, as an option, board the tram and venture to the top of the Arch.  We will visit Grant's Farm, a 261 acre ancestral home of the Busch family.  the farm is home to more than 900 animals including the Budweiser Clydesdale Horses.  The Lakeside Chateau Hotel & Resort is an iconic hotel located in the rolling hills of the Ozark Mountains.  We will see a wonderful show at the Sight and Sound Theaters.  The following day, we will have afternoon entertainment #1 Hits of the 60's & 50's will bring you a non-stop, high energy party of phenomenal hit music!  In the evening, we will see the Legends in Concert show, featuring the world's greatest live tribute artists and brings entertainment's biggest names to life with uncanny realism using their own natural voives.   We will have a tour of historic Branson, Table Rock Lake and College of the Ozarks.  The following night, after dinner, we will enjoy the Dutton Family Show, who will give you the kind of show that made Branson famous.  In Louisville, we will visit the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience, a multi-million dollar artisanal distillery, immersive tourism experience and retail location that celebrates the legacy of Evan Williams and the Kentucky Derby Museum an American Thoroughbred horse racing museum located on the grounds of Churchill Downs and dedicated to preserving the history of the Kentucky Derby.

Escape the ordinary at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. Standing on the shores of the Potomac River, our stylish resort offers convenient access to many of Maryland's most beloved attractions, including the Capital Wheel and MGM National Harbor. There also are plenty of things to explore right under the roof of our hotel. From the 19-story glass atrium overlooking the river and full-service spa to our seven distinct restaurants, you can experience it all. Also, enjoy their beautiful indoor pool with outdoor sun deck.  Upon arrival in Washington, you will have time for lunch on your own at Union Station.  Afterwards, we will visit the National Law Enforcement Museum.   Saturday, we will visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture which is the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture. To date, the Museum has collected more than 36,000 artifacts and nearly 100,000 individuals have become members. The Museum opened to the public on September 24, 2016, as the 19th and newest museum of the Smithsonian Institution.  Our tour will include, stop at Martin Luther King Monument, Franklin Eleanor Roosevelt and many of the others. We will also have a tour of Washington DC at night.  Then, on Sunday morning, a little free time or optional Mass at the Cathedral of St. Matthew.  We will continue our tour of Washington DC before our early dinner celebration at Carmine's Restaurant before heading home.

Our annual July 4th celebration begins.  We will be making a morning stop and a lunch stop before we arrive DiMillo's in Portland for dinner.  The Boothbay Harbor Inn is a beautiful motel directly on the waterfront which has a wonderful indoor and outdoor lounge for your enjoyment.  There is a walkway bridge over the water to the Village of Boothbay Harbor.  Of course a favorite of many is walking over at night for their delicious homemade ice cream.   During your stay in the Boothbay Region, we will  tour the Boothbay region and stop in town for a little shopping , have a boat ride to Cabbage Island for our lobster bake.  We will have a wonderful local Barter Island Supper served by the local Islanders.  We will be stopping at the Maine Botanical Gradens and the Maine Maritime Museum.  A new tradition that we started four years ago was a DOCK PARTY!  We are having this party on the 4th and watching the fireworks right from the hotel.   This is sure to be a great time!    A $100 deposit is due with registration.  SINGLES  ROOMS ARE SOLD OUT!

Lunch on your own on the way up.  Then we will meet our local guide for an afternoon of touring before checking into the hotel.  We will tour  Ventfort Hall, summer cottage of Mr. & Mrs. George Morgan.  The following day, we will visit Hancock Shaker Village with 25 historic buildings.  we will learn about Shaker life, crafts and farming.  There will be time for lunch and browsing on your own in Lenox, a quintessential New England town with an eclectic collection of artistic and upscale shops.  After our included dinner, we will enjoy Tanglewood on Parade.  The Boston Symphony Orchestra puts on an extraordinary show.  The program culminates with the '1812' Overture where civil was canons are set off in time with the music ending with a spectacular fireworks display. The next day we will have a Tanglewood Tour and a Norman Rockwell Museum tour. You will see the famous Red Lion Inn, the First Church, the Children's Chimes Chapel, etc..  We will also visit the Normal Rockwell Museum for a tour and the a Stockbridge tour before having lunch on your own in Stockbridge.  After lunch, we will depart for our journey home.
