Upon arrival in Washington, you will have time for lunch on your own at Union Station. Afterwards, we will have a short tour of the Capital and Capital Hill sights. Saturday, we will visit the the new International Spy Museum at L'Enfant Plaza! With interactive exhibitions and installations, the foremost collection of spy artifacts in the world, and first-person accounts from top intelligence officers and experts, the new Museum places visitors in the shoes of a spy. Then, the National Museum of African American History and Culture which is the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture. To date, the Museum has collected more than 36,000 artifacts and nearly 100,000 individuals have become members. The Museum opened to the public on September 24, 2016, as the 19th and newest museum of the Smithsonian Institution. On Sunday, we will have anoher tour of Wasington DC before our early dinner at Tony & Joe's before heading home.

The next morning, we will have a local guide for a morning tour of historic Boston. Areas will include the Back Bay, where there are many beautiful brownstones, Beacon Hill and the gold domed state house, Boston Common, America's first public park and the Public Garden. We will also see the Old Statehouse, where the Declaration of Independence was read to the waiting citizens of Boston. There will be free time for lunch on your own at Quincy Markets. Arrive back at hotel in the afternoon where you can enjoy the amenities of the hotel which include, the casino, the spa, salon, fitness center,boutiques, harbor walk or you can cruise by luxury yacht aboard the Encore Harbor Shuttle to Boston (additional charge). The following day we will board an excursion vessel for an amazing experience of Whale Watching. We will travel into the natural habitat of a diverse marine environment. The Lakeside Chateau Hotel & Resort is an iconic hotel located in the rolling hills of the Ozark Mountains. We will see a wonderful show at the Sight and Sound Theaters. The following day, we will have afternoon entertainment at the Andy Williams Theatre by Rick Thomas. You will experience amazing and magical things. There is no show like this in the world. Back at the hotel, we will commence our Memorial Day Celebration with holiday activities including an outdoor BBQ overlooking the lake with movies and fireworks. We will have a tour of historic Branson, Table Rock Lake and College of the Ozarks. We will see Legends in Concert featuring the world's greatest live tribute artists. After dinner, we will enjoy the Dutton Family Show, who will give you the kind of show that made Branson famous. In Louisville, we will visit the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience, a multi-million dollar artisanal distillery, immersive tourism experience and retail location that celebrates the legacy of Evan Williams and the Kentucky Derby Museum an American Thoroughbred horse racing museum located on the grounds of Churchill Downs and dedicated to preserving the history of the Kentucky Derby.

Our annual July 4th celebration begins. We will be making a morning stop and a lunch stop before we arrive DiMillo's in Portland for dinner. The Boothbay Harbor Inn is a beautiful motel directly on the waterfront which has a wonderful indoor and outdoor lounge for your enjoyment. There is a walkway bridge over the water to the Village of Boothbay Harbor. Of course a favorite of many is walking over at night for their delicious homemade ice cream. During your stay in the Boothbay Region, we will tour the Boothbay region and stop in town for a little shopping , have a boat ride to Cabbage Island for our lobster bake. We will have a wonderful local Barter Island Supper served by the local Islanders. We will be stopping at the Maine Botanical Gradens and the Maine Maritime Museum. A new tradition that we started four years ago was a DOCK PARTY! We are having this party on the 4th and watching the fireworks right from the hotel. This is sure to be a great time! Lunch on your own on the way up. Then we will meet our local guide for an afternoon of touring before checking into the hotel. We will tour Ventfort Hall, summer cottage of Mr. & Mrs. George Morgan. The following day, we will visit Hancock Shaker Village with 25 historic buildings. we will learn about Shaker life, crafts and farming. There will be time for lunch and browsing on your own in Lenox, a quintessential New England town with an eclectic collection of artistic and upscale shops. After our included dinner, we will enjoy Tanglewood on Parade. The Boston Symphony Orchestra puts on an extraordinary show. The program culminates with the '1812' Overture where civil was canons are set off in time with the music ending with a spectacular fireworks display. The next day we will have a Tanglewood Tour and a Norman Rockwell Museum tour. You will see the famous Red Lion Inn, the First Church, the Children's Chimes Chapel, etc.. We will also visit the Normal Rockwell Museum for a tour and the a Stockbridge tour before having lunch on your own in Stockbridge. After lunch, we will depart for our journey home.
