Peter Nero and the Philly Pops honor Philadelphia's favorite son-the late, great tenor Mario Lanza. This program will feature incredible tenors singing Lanza's hits. One of America's premier pops orchestras, Peter Nero and the Philly Pops was founded in 1979 under the musical leadership of pianist and conductor Peter Nero, whose unique talents and innovative programming blending all musical genres have made their concerts widely popular in the pops world. POPS concerts run the gamut from great classics to jazz improvisation, big band to Broadway hits, ragtime to rock n roll.

It*s love at first sight when a gawky, quirky insect arrives in this bustling community and a fabulous ladybug catches his eye, and the feeling is mutual. The cast features 54 performing artists from 13 countries, integrating choreography by Colker, the first female director at Cirque du Soleil. Ovo features many of the company*s signature acrobatic acts including a stunning flying trapeze act*six flyers soaring 40 feet in the air, the biggest act of its kind ever presented under a big top by Cirque du Soleil. The finale features 20 artists running, jumping and leaping up a 24-foot vertical wall.
